Chris began his insurance carrier in 1986 with the Cleveland Insurance Group. In 1995 he joined The Harry A. Koch Co. working for 12 years before he joined Union Agency, Inc. After working with them for 10 years as President, he returned to The Harry A. Koch Co., now FNIC, in 2017 to lead the Lincoln office as Branch Manager. Chris has extensive knowledge in total cost of risk (TCOR) and risk management, in addition to his in-depth knowledge of workers’ compensation. He is the Membership Committee Chair for Nebraskans for Workers’ Compensation Equity and Fairness (NWCEF).
Chris attended Illinois College in Jacksonville, IL and was in the United States Air Force until his honorable discharge in 1982. He holds his Nebraska Resident Agent’s license in Property & Casualty, Life and Annuities, Sickness, Accident and Health, and his Consultant License in Property & Casualty. In 1996, he earned his Certified Insurance Consultant designation.
In his free time, Chris enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. Chris is a member of and volunteers for the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
