Traci began her insurance career eight years ago at a smaller agency in Bellevue after answering to local job advertisement. She has been with The Koch Co. since January 2017 as an Account Manager with our Personal Lines team. "If you're considering a career in insurance but are unsure if you should take the leap, just go for it! If you find that you don't like one specific department, there are countless more opportunities within the industry for you to pursue. Whether it's Personal Lines, Claims, HR, Marketing, or the many other departments, there is a home for you in insurance." Traci received a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Bellevue University in 2013 and has been applying her extensive combined knowledge of customer relations and insurance since she began her insurance career in 2013.
Why Account Management?
Each department works with specific types of insurance in a variety of industries. Account managers act as the face of the agency while assisting clients with existing accounts to ensure that they are getting the help that they need. “There isn’t a typical day in account management, especially personal lines. You truly never know what you’re going to get when you walk in the door and that’s the best part about it. Whether the individual wants to make a claim, add a product, or simply has a question about their policy, I am happy to help no matter how complex.” While the strong relationship begins between the producer and the client, it is up to the Account Manager to maintain the strong level of trust to ensure they are content with their quality of service.
