The
goal of these services is to identify areas that may pose a safety
concern, then develop practices and procedures to create a viable,
company-wide safety program and philosophy.
An
accident or injury can erode your business profits, due to employee
lost-time injuries and equipment downtime. When coupled with the
current climate for litigation and rising medical costs, an injury
or accident can severely impact your costs. The best way to contol
these expenses and keep your employees from being injured is effective
management of your loss control/safety program. To do this, we
initially identify your wants, need and concerns. Then we do an
initial survey of your operations and collect past data on employee
injury/loss, which usually indicates trends that are problems.
We then create a plan of action to address these problems. This
includes operational changes, training, and developing a system
of accountability.
While
we specialize in Workers Compensation Loss Preventions Programs,
we also provide Property/Casualty Loss Prevention Services as
well. Customers of The Koch Co. are provided with these services
free of charge. From time-to-time, companies who do not have a
Property/Casualty relationship with The Koch Co. can purchase
these Loss control services on a fee or consultation basis
Bottom
Line: By creating and implementing a comprehensive safety program,
you can reduce your accidents/claims and lower your costs.
